Rod has been Chair since Oasis English Language School became a registered charity (CIO) in July 2016.  Rod has over 30 years senior management experience in local government, and has project management skills. He had previous experience of being chair of a charity and making applications for funds.

Dave brings extensive experience in charity leadership and development within cross cultural contexts.

Jenny has more than 20 years experience of community development, having worked in both the voluntary sector and within local authorities. She currently serves on the board of trustees of two other charities. In 2003 Jenny was involved with the Oasis Centre ESOL project which preceded the Oasis English Language School.

Alan had a career in financial services spanning 40 years, with the last 8 years as an independent adviser in Essex.
Alan is the Treasurer for Oasis English Language School and together with his wife, Lynne, runs the creche during lessons.

Previously a church planter and pastor in the UK, since 2004 Alan has worked with churches internationally, delivering disaster response and development programmes into marginalised communities in many cultures around the world.  Locally, he also leads the Ukraine (refugee) response through Together for Ipswich.
